Video Review/Reaction. Students are to choose a film or video in which the main theme addresses issues relevant to LGBTQ+ issues and psychology, then write a reaction paper. IMPORTANT: Please email the instructor the name, a short description, and a link to the video (if one is available) for approval prior to writing your paper. The instructor must approve of the video prior to turning the paper in to assure its appropriateness for the course. The reaction paper should be no more than five pages in length, excluding title page, abstract, and references (if applicable). The first section is to offer a personal reaction to seeing the film/video, i.e., what impact did this experience have on you? What, if anything, did you learn from it? The second section is to address the implications for practice (psychology, counseling, therapy, etc.) with LGBTQ+ clients. What psychological experiences are reflected in the film? Please note that the two sections should be balanced with respect to length. The paper is to be written in APA (APA Publication Manual, 6th Edition) or MLA style. Please use a title/cover page, 12pt Times New Roman font, double-spaced lines, and pages numbered at the top right of the page.
