Personal Reflection/Resources Paper

 

This is a personal reflection paper outlining your strengths and weaknesses in performing a clinical write up and diagnosing disorders. Reflect on this semester, and your experiences interviewing someone.

 

Some guiding questions include:

As a clinician what are your strengths?

What are your weaknesses?

When would you seek help from your supervisor or refer a client?

What areas of psychopathology interest you?

What treatment modalities interest you?

What disorders are you hesitant to work with? 

What population would you like to work with?

 

Please include in your reflection two additional resources(empirical journals, websites, further training opportunities, ect.) that you could utilize to strengthen your skill set, and learn more about performing a clinical interview, writing a clinical write up, and/or diagnosing a client. Compare and contrast the two resources, and state how it would help you strengthen your clinical skill set.
