Research Paper Topic Instructions
The major assignment of this course is a research paper to be completed in three stages. First, you must pick a topic for your paper. Some topics are suggested in the Journal Article Critique Instructions, but more topics for the paper include:

- Theological Analysis of One of the Attributes of God
- Theological Significance of One of the Names of God
- Philosophical Problems Related to the Trinity
- The Theological Significance of the Doctrine of Creation
- The Sovereignty of God and the Free Will of Man
- The Image of God in Man
- The Theological Significance of Adam
- A Theological Analysis of the Concept of Structural Sin
- Inspiration of Scripture
- Inerrancy of Scripture
- Theology and the Literary Criticism of the Bible
- Theodicies and the Problem of Evil
- The Fall of Satan
- The Problem of Sin
To complete this stage, state the general topic in which you are interested followed by a colon and a specific focus within the topic. An example is below:
“A Select Issue in Bibliology: The Inspiration of Scripture”
